Cardio Life is preparing a patent portfolio encompassing technology for the implantable heart pump and accessories. Some of the key features are: 

• A modular single control system capable of operating one or two blood pumps simultaneously, enabling left or biventricular support on a single platform (biventricular support effectively provides capabilities similar to those of a total artificial heart without the removal of the native heart and related complications).
• Modular technology platform for other applications.
• Intraventricular minimally invasive blood pump methods, allowing pump insertion directly into the heart to treat both systolic and diastolic heart failure.
