FEATURES & BENEFITS
Features & Benefits of Our EasyHeart™ Technology
Our EasyHeart™ ventricular assist system (VAS) can support left and bi-ventricular heart failure. EasyHeart™ manages various types of heart failure, such as Bridge-to-Transplant (BTT) or permanent implantation. Our device has a full hydrodynamic bearing, which presents the following clinical and user advantages:
Contactless bearing, effectively without wear, lasting a lifetime.
Small enough to be an implantable VAD for children, an essential and currently unmet market need.
This type of bearing draws less power and is simpler to control, reducing the diameter of the driveline and, therefore, reducing the risk of infection at the skin exit site.
EasyHeart™ VAS controller can also run in a biventricular configuration (BiVAD), with two simultaneous EasyHeart™ VADs implanted in the left and right ventricles.
EasyHeart™ is the smallest VAS in the market, requiring a smaller battery and less weight, leading to higher mobility and longer battery life and improving overall patient mobility and comfort.
Another advantage of a full hydrodynamic bearing is that the device is simpler to manufacture, reducing the number of parts and improving reliability and health economics.

EasyHeart™ Ventricular Assist System (VAS)
- EasyHeart™ VAS is our system for controlling external ventricular assist devices. It was designed and developed to offer the flexibility to support either a biventricular or single-ventricular assist device configuration.
- Battery life is 20 hours on a single pack.
- The external Controller + Battery pack is lightweight, approximately 1.4 kg, enabling belt mounting and eliminating the need for an external trolley.
- Our hospital system includes a medical tablet that will interface with the control system, enabling data retrieval.
- We also have an innovative app in development which allows for remote monitoring of patient data through a smartphone.
