Intellectual Property

Intellectual property is at the heart of Cardio Life.

Intellectual property in medical devices can take several forms, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Patents protect inventions and processes; trademarks protect brand identity; copyrights protect original works like software and documentation; and trade secrets protect confidential know-how.

Cardio Life leverages the extensive experience of its founders, staff, and consultants to ensure intellectual property protection is considered in the functional areas required to develop its products. The areas include, but are not limited to, human factors engineering, mechanical and electrical design, fluid dynamics, process engineering, manufacturing methods, material science and software algorithms.
